Shoplifting turned into robberies in Bellerose

Police are on the constant calls from 911 after shoplifting turned into robberies on one section of Union Turnpike in Bellerose. This is between 248 and 249 Streets.

The latest incident was reported on January 15 around 7pm.

More and more stores are closing earlier in the area due to high thefts from commercial locations.

Braddock Avenue reported the next one on the list with the same incidents.

All incidents are under investigation.
