Shooting investigation at a location in Lakeview

The Nassau County Police Department reports the details of a shooting that occurred on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 1:45 pm in Lakeview. 

According to Police, officers responded to a 911 call in the vicinity of Owasco Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a shooting victim who sustained a non-life threatening injury. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

The investigation is on-going.
