Shark washed ashore in Nassau County

Robert Moses State Park Field 4 and 5 closed due to a large shark washed ashore. All are told to leave the premises.

The shark is now unconscious at the beach pending removal.

The shark was alerted to authorities around 2pm.

There were no injuries to the beachgoers.

Ongoing investigation.
