Serious Vehicular Accident Levittown

The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Serious Vehicular Accident that occurred on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 11:45 PM in Levittown.
According to Detectives, a male pedestrian, approximately 60 years old, was walking northbound across Hempstead Turnpike near the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue where he was struck by a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by a 32-year-old male who was traveling westbound on Hempstead Turnpike. The pedestrian suffered serious head and chest trauma and was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in serious condition There were no injuries reported from the driver of the Altima which remained at scene. The investigation is ongoing.
