Second pedestrian struck in Queens

Police reported a pedestrian has been struck by vehicle on Horace Harding Expressway and 188 Street in Fresh Meadows. The victim has been taken to a local hospital. The driver remains on the scene. Around 7:30am a male, 53 was struck by vehicle at the Junction Blvd and 43rd Avenue intersection. The victim was in critical condition after transported to Elmhurst Hospital. This was a victim riding the bike while struck by a commercial truck. Both incidents are ongoing investigation.
