Seaford sex offense incident reported suspect in custody

The NCPD reported the arrest of a suspect identified as Michael Hernandez, 20 of Bethpage wanted for sex offense in Seaford.

The incident was reported on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 5:32 PM in Seaford, Nassau County.

According to detectives, a 34-year-old-female victim was walking in the rear of 751 Seamans Neck Road, when she was approached by a male suspect who inappropriately touched her and fled on foot. The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 25 years old, with long hair and braces on his teeth. The investigation is ongoing.

He is charged with Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree. He was arraigned on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
