Sanford Avenue closed in Flushing

Police are on Sanford Avenue reporting of multiple shots fired. This is by Ash Avenue and Murray Street. ESU recovered shell casings.

A witness stated during 911 call bullets came out from a vehicle and maybe involved in a road rage.

Police described three suspects as two black males and one Hispanic male all took off on eastbound Sanford Avenue.

Detectives are checking for bullet victims.
