SSP eastbound now closed due to fatality

Police reported fatality on the Southern State Parkway eastbound at Exit 38 after MVA. All lanes closed and will remain so for overnight for investigation. Delays are now back to the Cross Island Parkway. Beside one dead, multiple injuries also reported. Delays all around on the Meadowbrook and other roads. Traffic is being re-routed.
