Robbery turned into attempted assault on Union Turnpike

More than ten police vehicles were called to a residence on Union Turnpike and Grand Central Parkway service road in Oakland Gardens reporting robbery.

Further investigation reported two females at the Co-op claimed they were robbed by a male and later attempted assault.

Police questioned the male and reported it was over money issue and they all knew each other.

There were no charges and police left.
