Robbery alerts for walkers in Queens

As of yesterday, 71 people were mugged, the new term for robberies, thefts and snatching in Queens.

The latest incident was in Jackson Heights when a victim was robbed at gunpoint on Northern Blvd and 70th Street around 5am.

On Tuesday before midnight, a woman heading home from work was robbed at the 63rd Drive Rego Park station.

The woman was followed until the turnstile was stopped by the suspect. The victim tried to fight back and the suspect took off with the wallet.

On October 5 in Glen Oaks, a victim was robbed around 5pm on the corner of Little Neck Parkway and Union Turnpike.

Police advise all to stay alert all the time.
