The $2.5 billion Brooklyn Queens streetcar project will not happen unless the federal funds are allotted. Mayor de Blasio didn't respond the update but insiders at the state office reported the budget report doesn't includes BQX. Both state and federal will not providing funds in part of $2.5 billion to NYC in the near future.
