Queens is where success starts with something for somebody

Some make it success while others get jealous and hate.

A boy from Queens is now the sitting president on the political side who doesn't want government overreach. Now NY is a government overreach state involved in every part of people's life.

For finance, we have a giant named Jamie Dimon who grew up in Jackson Heights where most people know about money and how to enjoy it well with salsa.

For the business side, a kid from Hollis with a brand called FUBU out of his parent's house is now on the international stage and that's Daymond John.

Most importantly, today is the day for original Queens rockers to remember their favorite band, KISS with Gene and Paul who performed their concert at a club in Sunnyside in 1973 in front of 10 people in the audience. This was at Coventry, formerly known as Popcorn Pub, was a music venue that opened in 1972 before closing a few years later. This was an inspiration where teens in those days spent long hours working to buy musical instruments and equipment while practicing inside the garage or basements with groups. Then going to pubs with troops gave a new meaning which is still practiced today. Since then, many have found success and fame in the musical industry where most are from Queens.

Then came a newer version of music and another name, Nicki Minaj also from Queens is a name many look up to. Minaj overcame a tough childhood in Queens and became the best selling female rapper ever for selling over 100 million records.

Queens is where success always happens but most don't want to try which is a lot of work and work or work.
