Queens Village man busted for scamming Floral Park woman

Police arrested Ahmaad Moore, 31 of Queens Village and charged with grand larceny for scamming a Floral Park woman. The incident was reported on January 15 when the 77 year old female received a call from stranger stating her grand daughter was involved in a vehicle accident and arrested in need of bail money. The amount, $9,800 was given to Moore by the victim. Then on January 17, she received another call in need of $19,000. That's when she alerted the police. A meeting was setup by police and Moore was arrested at the victim's home around 1pm. He has been charged with grand larceny.
