Queens Opportunity Zone expanding

A new building is slated at 163-05 Archer Avenue called Archer Towers. The funding of $290 million was made by Goldman Sachs Asset Management. It will be a mixed lot with affordable apartments also. This is part of Queens Opportunity Zone and part of the investment firm's One Million Black Initiative. The building will be 542,000 square feet with 24 floors and 605 apartment units. Another 20,000 square feet of amenities and 14,000 square feet of retail space. The construction is expected to be complete by Spring 2024.
