Queens DA charge Fresh Meadows man for throwing dog to death

Yuk Cheung, 35 of Fresh Meadows has been charged with animal cruelty that resulted the death of a 12 year old pug dog. The incident happened on March 17 at an apartment on 40th Road in Flushing after dispute with ex-girlfriend. His pleaded not guilty and bail is $10,000. If convicted, Cheung is heading to prison for two years. Reported 3pm.
