Queens BP new date announced for election

Instead of March 24 originally scheduled for the election of the Queens Borough Presidency, the new date is June 23, 2020. However, the election to hold the seat runs until December 31, 2021 with another election for full term. This is due to former president Melinda Katz won the election as the Queens District Attorney.
