Protests will continue despite curfew in NYC

Yesterday, around 700 people were arrested for looting and other offenses including attacks on police officers according to NYPD Commissioner. All were released after issuing summons.
After NYC was issued curfew yesterday, Governor Cuomo extended thew curfew to June 7, one day before opening phase I. The protests continue today and F the Curfew is chanted as of now in Manhattan's Foley Square and Barclays Center. The curfew starts at 8pm and protesters are not bothered as police confirmed it will be another night as yesterday with looting and violence.
Mayor de Blasio quoted, "There are peaceful protesters calling on religious leaders, community people taking back their own city. Mayor says there are 34,000 police officers who are equipped to handle the situation. Downsizing curfew to 8 pm."
Governor Cuomo quoted, "You have 38,000 police officers, deploy them. There was rampant looting that they did not stop, that is what they did wrong, The NYPD and the Mayor did not do their job last night. It was a disgrace?.
Last night, NYPD deployed 8,000, up from 4,000 the previous night.
On deploying National Guard,
Cuomo stated it will make it worse and won't do it. He would have to remove de Blasio as the mayor in order to do so.
