Property taxes will continue to rise with exception to one sector in NYC

A brand new year, brand new assessment related to property taxes and worst, Co-op and condos maintenance continue to increase as usual. Mayor di Blasio has only exception and that's affordable housing. The developer of affordable housing in NYC does not pay property taxes and in return allocate lower income families to some of the units. The other program is tax relief for seniors if they qualify. Despite local politicians and Co-op and condo board members saying new bills are in place for tax break, Mayor di Blasio will not sign them to became law. One example is NYS Senate Tony Avella who drafted to reclassify Co-ops and condos into a new tax class was rejected by Mayor di Blasio not once but several times. The same with various names including J51 bill, northeast NYC Council member Barry Grodenchick drafted which the mayor is stalling and refuse to sign. Overall, slogans such as, "will cut taxes, lower taxes, eliminate taxes, new tax laws and etc. are all for self promotions to fool the public. The other slogan politicians use is, "will work to lower taxes." The mayor's office clearly stated taxes will continue to rise. Just like the sun rises in the morning.
