Prison escaped from Kew Gardens Criminal Court

Police are reporting a prisoner has been escaped from transport at the Kew Gardens Criminal Court. Multiple NYPD units all over searching from public transportation to subways. The prisoner is male black, 22, 6?. Ongoing investigation.
According to court officials, the 22 year old was remanded to jail ordered by the judge after making a court appearance but escaped.
Update - The suspect identified as Tyrell Escobar was in court for gun possession charge. He was arrested in June 12 allegedly firing a gun in a Queens playground and was out on bail. Today in the court,the judge revoked his bail and that's when he escaped after he was scheduled to transport to Rikers.
