Press meet for yesterday s riots

The mayor of NYC reported of around 3,000 protesters, there were 204 arrests and 200 released without charges. Three were charged for serious assault on police officers in Brooklyn during NYPD vehicle vandalism. One was charged with weapon possession and attempted murder for trying to throw molotov cocktail on four police offices inside an NYPD vehicle. Of 204, 163 are NYC residents primarily Brooklyn, 41 out of state. 3 were released without bail.
Since the mayor and NYPD Commissioner confirmed of no protest in NYC in public during the pandemic, he quoted,
"I think it's a great thing that large crowds are assembling for this cause," he said. But coming with loaded firearms, bricks, Molotov cocktails, "is the furthest thing possible from civil disobedience."
Mayor quoted, "Some people came there to do violence"
and "Any aggressive act toward a peaceful protester sends exactly the wrong message," at the video of police handling protesters "violently" and "roughly."
Update - Police reported the protester charged with attempted murder also had her sister arrested. The incident occurred at the 88th Precinct in Brooklyn.
Cuomo is in the Bronx scheduled for press briefing at 11:30am.
