Police officer suicide investigation

The NYPD closed off the 47th Precinct reporting an officer died from a self inflicted gunshot wound after being taken to Jacobi Hospital.

The incident was reported around 11:15am at the precinct’s locker room.

Heavy police activity in the Bronx from the precinct to the hospital.

Just 22 years old.

6 months on the job.

RIP Officer.
