Police investigation at the local college in Flushing

The NYPD is on Kissena Blvd reporting a local college student was assaulted during a robbery in progress. This is by the local Queens College by the bus stop near 65th Avenue across the Pomonok public housing.

Police described the suspects as males, blacks who took off on foot toward the public housing. Cops are now canvassing the area.

EMS is attending to the victim.

Police are advising local college students to remain alert with their belongings as this is a frequent occurrence in the area.

The investigation continues.
