Police busted a murder suspect at Whitestone home

Police reported a suspect wanted for murder and weapon possession has been arrested in Whitestone. Omar Prado, 22 was taken into custody from his mother’s home in Whitestone on Tuesday. This was after a four month investigation. Police stated Prado is a member of La Familia gang and allegedly gunned down Kevin Gomez, 29 outside a deli in Corona. The crime was reported on June 2 around 5pm. The victim was a member of the Trinitarios gang.
