Please support your local state elected officials with their pay hike

The NYS Assembly and Senate members are poor and broke in a desperate need for help from the taxpayers to increase their paycheck for their part time jobs.

The current pay is at $142,000 not including committee sectors, travel and other luxury perks only people can dream of. Both Senate and Assembly members of NYS are the highest paid nationwide but still not enough. A new hike to $180,000 is in the works after a bill was introduced. That’s only a 26% raise and their dream is over $200,000 which can happen soon with the public’s support. The Governor is expected to sign it.

Being elected by the people of NY, most of the Senate and Assembly comes from poor and broken homes barely with an education, making the state the most government controlled power over the people with so many tax programs to drain funds from the taxpayers.

The average salary in New York, as of February 2026, is $26.01 an hour or $54,094 per year. 76% have no savings, real estate or any holdings. Own nothing and be happy living in an affordable city is the way to go.
