Pedestrian struck investigation on Jericho Turnpike

The NCPD reported a pedestrian struck by vehicle on Jericho Turnpike this evening. The incident was reported near Marcus Avenue in New Hyde Park. EMS transported the pedestrian to a local hospital. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. As of this year, this is the fourth incident in the same vicinity of the same incidents.

The investigation continues.
