Pedestrian struck by vehicle on Union Turnpike

Police closed off the Union Turnpike eastbound by 192nd Street reporting a female struck by vehicle. This is in Fresh Meadows. A female was hit but a truck after coming out of the post office. EMS is working to transport the female to a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.

Also in Fresh Meadows, a driver lost control and hit a fence by a home on 170th Street and 69th Avenue. EMS is working on the scene.
