Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Bellerose

Police reported a female pedestrian struck by vehicle on Hillside Avenue and 242nd Street in Bellerose. It happened after 6:30pm. The pedestrian has been taken to a local hospital with injuries. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
