Pedestrian struck by hit and run died in Times Square

Police closed off the tourist spot in Times Square after a hit and run resulting in one dead. It happened around 9pm by Eighth Avenue and W 41 Street by the bus terminal. The victim, male, 58 was struck by a box truck and the driver took off. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
