Pedestrian struck by MTA bus dead in Ridgewood

Police closed off Myrtle Avenue and 85th Street reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle dead. The incident was reported around 7:15pm. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital pronounced dead. Myrtle Avenue between Union Turnpike and 83rd Avenue is closed. Ongoing investigation.
