Pedestrian died after struck by vehicle in Kew Gardens

Police reported a male was struck by box truck and died in Kew Gardens. It happened today around 6am on Metropolitan Avenue near 124 Avenue. The victim died at the scene. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police. Ongoing investigation.
