Pedestrian dead after struck by vehicle on Hillside Avenue

Police are reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle on Hillside Avenue and 153rd Street in Jamaica. The driver took off after the incident. Hillside Avenue closed in both directions. Ongoing investigation. Now reporting the vehicle is a Honda Pilot black color. The victim is a 54 year old male identified as Azeemuddin Jalaluddi.
