Pedestrian dead after hit and run in Flushing

Police reported hit and run in Flushing. The incident happened around 2am on College Point Blvd and Booth Memorial Avenue. The pedestrian was crossing when the male victim was struck by an SUV. The victim collapsed on the scene and died later. The driver took off toward west bound Grand Centrl Parkway. Ongoing investigation.
