One year old baby struck by vehicle in East Elmhurst

East Elmhurst - 94th Street and 23rd Avenue, one year old baby struck by vehicle. Police reported the child's mother was crossing the street at the intersection when a truck made turn struck the child in the stroller. EMS transported the baby to Elmhurst Hospital. The driver of white pick up, Wallace Ramirez, 44 stayed on the scene and has been placed under custody. Ramirez is charged with slew of traffic violations. Reported 9pm.
