One vendor service now hit the roof in NYC

Buy a power washer and cleaning cars is a booming service in NYC but with a license now easily given out by NYC. Just like food carts, just find a place as a fixed location without using hydrants or illegally dump water into sewers using a power washer. The license fee is only $550 for two years renewal. This includes mobile, on-demand or pop-up service. All services from washing, detailing, drying, polishing, vacuuming and other cosmetic care of vehicles are allowed with cash or card option.

As for no requirement of license is allowed for charity or fundraising where car wash is allowed. The other option is a self serving facility where customers clean vehicles. The setup requires permits including residential locations like a daycare center.

Any vehicles operating car wash without permit will have the vehicle taken away.

Maybe in the future there will be shower service in public streets but who knows!
