One person shot in Queens Village

Police reported a man leaving LIRR was walking on Springfield Blvd when he was shot at the 99th Avenue intersection. The suspect is male black wearing gray hooded sweatshirt with jeans and black shoes. The suspect took off on foot toward south Springfield Blvd. The victim was shot twice. EMS transported the victim to North Shore Hospital. Ongoing investigation.
