One morning mess in Queens has locals talking of a major armed robbery

This morning around 9am, the NYPD reported two suspects targeted an armored truck. that was carrying cash to a local bank in Queens. The incident was reported near Bank of America in the vicinity of Linden Blvd and 205th Street in St. Albans.

Police say four suspects, males,wearing all black with ski masks approached the truck when the driver and an armed guard opened the doors for the delivery routine. This is when the suspects removed three bags containing around $300,000 cash after displaying a weapon. Then one of the suspects removed the armed guard's weapon and took off in a black Chevy SUV toward south Linden Blvd.

The NYPD confirmed this was a Brinks Armored truck and released a statement,

"In general, and in the interest of the safety of our employees and others who may be affected on matters concerning law enforcement, we do not comment and recommend that you approach the relevant law enforcement agencies for further background on the incident."

So far no arrests.
