One long stretch of vehicle break ins in Glen Oaks

Police reported break-ins of more than ten vehicles in Glen Oaks on several occasions. The routine was Union Turnpike from Commonwealth Blvd to the back parking lot of the shopping center on Little Neck Parkway. From there, to Glen Oaks Shopping Center to 260th Street and 75th Avenue. Reported thieves look for unlocked vehicles and two windows were broken. Residents are advised to stay alert
