One long stretch in Fresh Meadows is now without a pharmacy

RiteAid on Union Turnpike near 188 Street closed for good. This is in Fresh Meadows that is open 24/7. The lease was not renewed. The store was changed to Walgreens after the buyout. This was a walking convenience for local residents. The nearest locations are on Union Turnpike and Parsons Blvd or 69th Avenue and 188 Street. The latter is not open 24 hours as the closed one.
