One dead after hit by train in Elmhurst

The NYPD reported a male hit by train died in Elmhurst. This is in the vicinity of Queens Blvd and Broadway. The incident was reported around 1am. ESU removed the body of the victim.

The medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy.

Train resumed operation after the investigation was complete.

Police didn't disclose details.

The investigation continues.
