One dead after crash on the NSP westbound

The NCPD reported around 1am, Northern State Parkway westbound was closed after a single motorcyclist died from crash. This is by Exit 29 in Old Westbury.

Police reported the motorcyclist hit the guardrail and then lost control into the woods causing the death at the scene.

The investigation continues.
