One dead after car crash in Uniondale

The NCPD reported around 1am, a car crash involving a utility pole in Uniondale, Nassau County with the driver dead.

This was a single vehicle fatality. A 2015 Chrysler van collided with a utility pole near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Uniondale Avenue.

Also last night around 9pm a truck collided with a utility pole in Floral Park's Nassau side. Tulip Avenue is closed until repairs are done.
