One dead after car crash in Middle Village

Police closed off Eliot Avenue by 72nd Street in Middle Village reporting fatal vehicular accident with one dead. A 91 year old female died after struck by vehicle. The driver remains on the scene and is cooperating with the police. ESU and Highway CIS are working on the scene. Ongoing investigation.
