Ogdensburg male arrested for stalking 4th

On July 4, 2025, members of the New York State Police arrested Brian A. Tharaldsen, age 57, from Ogdensburg, NY, for Stalking in the Fourth Degree.

On June 20, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Troopers responded to a harassment complaint on Canton Street in Ogdensburg. An investigation revealed that Tharaldsen had been contacting the victim through various social media platforms and email, despite being told not to do so.

After law enforcement instructed him to stop contacting the victim, Tharaldsen continued his behavior. Consequently, he was arrested and taken to the State Police barracks in Ogdensburg for processing. He was subsequently arraigned in the City of Ogdensburg Court and released on his own recognizance.
