Officers discharged and they are in good shape

Today at the Elmhurst Hospital, both police officers were released after being treated for gunshot wounds from the incident last night in Elmhurst. According to the NYC Mayor during a press brief, one of the police officers was shot in the leg and the other officer was grazed in the stomach. Also the Mayor stated the bullet resistant vest saved the officer's life.

Both are home now and recovering before they are back to work.

As for the suspect, the Queens District Attorney is working on the charges and a press statement will be issued soon.

The good working citizens of NYC demand harsh charges against the suspect.
