Off duty cop shot in Brooklyn

Police are on a massive hunt for a suspect, male, black after an off duty cop shot in Brooklyn by the border of Ozone Park in Queens. This is on Ruby Street near Linden Blvd.

Police recovered the gun during a marketplace from FB meet to sell a car when the suspect responded to the ad.

The incident occurred around 7pm.

The suspect took off in a black vehicle heading to Queens on the Belt Parkway.

Police sources stated the suspect may have been shot and now checking hospitals in Queens and Long Island.

Chopper and K-9 are assisting with the search.

The officer is in critical condition at the moment.
