Off duty cop arrested for menacing in Lynbrook

Lynbrook - Police arrested Sean Maxwell, 35 of Lynbrook after menacing a gun while off duty during a road rage encounter at the intersection f Birch Street and Lenox Avenue. The incident happened on Sunday, May 28 around 7:45pm. The driver told Maxwell he blew a stop sign and that's when the incident occurred. Maxwell is charged with menacing and his next court date is June 22. He has been suspended pending investigation. Reported 9am.
