Ocean patrol is now advanced in Nassau County

The NCPD is now adding more resources to patrol oceans in Nassau County from Nickerson to Jones Beach and it's vicinity. This came after a lifeguard was crying from a shark bite in Jones Beach yesterday. Now drones are added to watch from the sky, additional sea patrol using jet skis and walkie-talkies walking around. Although Nassau County's executive office didn't disclose the budget, this year all beachgoers safety is a priority.
