No tentative dates to vacate at the migrants facility in Bellerose

The NYC Mayor's Office stated the 30, 60, 90 or more days rule of rotation for migrants is gone.

At the same time, the main hub of the migrant processing center at Roosevelt hotel is closed.

This means the migrants currently living at shelters will not have a notice or a follow up visit to rotate but stay indefinitely including the Creedmoor location in Bellerose.

At the same time, migrants can walk into any migrant shelters listed without processing any paperwork as long as they are already in the system before January 20, 2025.

NYC will not process new migrants and by June 2025, 13 migrant facilities will be closed permanently. Another 25 is expected to close by March 2025.

At each facility slated to close, NYPD added a mounting unit preparing for the closure in the coming weeks.

Creedmoor will remain open and it's up to the NY Governor to decide the status of the location whether to continue servicing migrants.

The new migrants as of January 20, 2025 arriving in NYC will have to Federal Plaza for processing. However, they can obtain a municipal NYC identification.
