No jell oh shots for you all in NY

Jell Oh shots are banned in NY under the law. That is with alcohol in it by mixing with jello. Under NY's alcohol law, pre-mixed drinks are illegal for sale in bars including jello shots.

So now what is pre-mixed law? Anything that's not made in front of your eyes is illegal. This is to prevent strangers from mixing unknown subjects hard to trust let alone anyone except private homes.

This is the law, "All alcoholic beverages must be dispensed from the container in which it was received from the licensed wholesaler. Refilling including same brands, altering or tampering with the contents of any alcoholic beverage container is unlawful. Pre-mixing drinks (i.e. jello shots, test tube drinks, etc.) by the licensee, agent or his employees is also prohibited.

For drinks to go, you can't drink at the bar but buy only.

The law is "alcoholic beverages must be packaged in a container with a secure lid or cap sealed in a manner designed to prevent consumption without removal of the lid or cap by breaking the seal. Any purchase of wine or liquor for takeout or delivery must be accompanied by a purchase of a substantial food item."
