New migrants opioid crisis and other states transporting to NYC

The NYC Mayor’s Office reported other states beside Texas are transporting migrants to NYC. This is due to the migrants' choice. However, the Mayor stated the maximum plane ticket fare to leave NYC is now $1000 and no one took it so far. As of September 2023, the NYS Comptroller released migrant spending using taxpayer funds. NYC is at $1.89 billion while NYS is at $316.2 million.

Meanwhile, migrants are making their move to illegal cannabis shops after the NYS Attorney General released information. The fentanyl, opioid and other drugs from the open border down south need to be controlled and the NY Governor issued a press statement in the Bronx today. More funds will be allotted to help communities to combat the crisis while not stating of enforcing the illegal cannabis shops.

The next migrant location was announced at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn where all must be vaxxed involving families with children for up to 60 days.
